Sports Day 2022
On Friday 27th May we had our annual Sports Day in St. Attracta’s S.N.S. There was great excitement in the build up to this and thankfully the weather was kind to us as the DLR basked in some glorious sunshine.
We had sprints, relays, sack races and we even had a water relay. This was the first year of the water relay and it was a great success. It was fantastic to see the boys and girls in each class working together and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had a parent’s race, a past pupils’ race and the proceedings finished with some of our future stars making their way down the track in the toddler race.
Well done to all our medal winners but well done also to all the boys and girls who participated in the various races. It was great to see so many children get involved and we can all agree, there was some exceptional talent on show amongst our student cohort.
A big thanks must go to Ms. McDonagh for all her organising and for putting the day’s events together and to Mr. McCann for setting up the track. A great day was had by all!!!
