On Thursday 1st June, we had our annual sports day in St. Attracta’s S.N.S. This was a wonderful event for staff and students alike as the sun beamed down on the DLR pitches.
The day started with our 3rd class sprints, followed by our 4th , 5th and 6th classes. Next up was the relays. These were hugely competitive across all four standards with some exceptionally close finishes.
Each class then had the sack race before we finished proceedings with a toddler’s race, a past pupils’ race and a parent’s race.
A huge well done to all our winners and to all children who took part across the various races and activities. A huge thanks also to Ms. McDonagh for organising the day.
